Dear Bro. John and family, I am extremely grateful and truly blessed to sit under your ministry. As we so often hear how we will be known by our fruits, I see this most clearly in our beloved Bro.'s life - just look at his children and all the extended family - all shining forth the light. And the stories Bro. Danny shared tonight with us about how his Dad's love for our dear Lord has never wavered, no matter what his condition. I don't think we could have a better role model for our walk with the Lord. He is truly inspiring.
My prayers continue to be with each and every one of you, as well as our whole church family, as you go through this difficult, yet glorious, time. What a Mighty God we serve!

Bro John and Family,
As I spoke with Bro John minutes before church, he was talking and saying how much he loves God and loves us all! He showed more
love in one man than I have ever seen! God truly blessed us with a Pastor/Shepherd that his living testimony is
that he loved everyone that he comes in contact with! He never brushes
anyone off or treats them like just another person, each person in his life
is another flower in God's Garden! He means so much to me, He is truly A God given gift! and I think I speak for everyone he has ever met when I say,

Patrick and I just want to tell you that we love you, and are so thankful that we sit under such a wonderful ministry. I love having bro John as my pastor, we all are just so blessed. it touched my heart this evening hearing
Bro. Danny speak about how that even through maybe this is his darkest hour here on earth,
Bro. John still praises our Lord, and remains true to the word. Bro John is a living testimony of how the Lord Jesus Christ can not only change a persons life, but live through that person, and be a light. I feel so honored to know your family. There has NEVER been a time where I spoke with
Bro. John that he didn't show that perfect love, the love of Jesus Christ. We love you all so much.
God is in control, and what more could we ask for? While my heart aches to know of what my brother is going through, there is also a calm, knowing that all is well, no matter what the outcome.

To know Brother John Stemen, even for a brief period of time, is to truly love this man. His life and his walk are true testimonies of what Jesus Christ can do with a soul in complete submission to Him. The impact he has had on our family, especially our oldest son, is so profound, words cannot express it. Our best wishes for Preacher John and his family. He is such a good, godly man and we will always remember he and his wife waiting for us in Lake City to take our grand-daughter Faith home after a visit with us in Georgia. Even though we were running a little late, they both were very gracious and a great help to us.
