Mabedo Village
On his latest mission trip, Bro. Jeffrey Johnson traveled with his family to Mabedo Village under Pion Community in the Northern Region of Ghana. Northern Ghana continues to have significant economic disparities such as higher poverty levels and slower development compared to Southern Ghana. This region remains impoverished by food insecurities. Islam remains the largest religion practiced in Northern Ghana with Christianity following in second place.

Bro. Jeffrey went with a desire to introduce the Message of the Hour to the people through Pastor John, a non-denominational minister. Pastor John has established 3 churches in this are and was a guide to Bro. Jeffrey as he introduced the Message to the people. Pastor John also desired that Bro. Jeffrey come and introduce the message to his own churches.
After the Mabedo services, Bro Jeffrey travelled to a few gatherings around the Message of the Hour. They went to join their hearts and voices in prayer for the people and the land. The soil in this are is not fertile therefore the people are not able to grow crops for food, bringing death to the people of Pion Community.
The people’s hearts were turned and after one of the morning services, 27 new converts desired baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Some of the newly converted ministers who received the Message of the Hour came to Bro. Jeffrey in Gushegu (capital city of the Gushegu district located in the Northern Region of Ghana) to receive Message books.
